I would like to see FOD change the scoring system so a draw is just that, a draw (zero points). The problem with the way it is now is, because you get so many points for a draw when you play a player with a higher score there are too many players "playing to draw". This changes the object of the game. The goal or object of the game is to win, not draw. One might say ,only play opponents with equal scores, but there aren't that many. There would be more higher rated players to play if it weren't for losing such a ridiculous amount for a draw and it would encourage these lower rated players to try to win. The lower rated players still have the point system in their favor if they win and are at a lower risk when they lose. But draw points completely change the purpose of the game. It is no longer to win.
