Can someone please explain to me the rating scoring. How can I steal 3 in 1 end and then give them 1 in the next end and still go down in rating points.

Rating system is calculated between your rating and rating of your opponent. If you got 250 points and play vs a 0 you need many points to increase your rating
The rating system was not developed by professor Elo .It was developed by Elmo of sesame street.
