I'm not going to argue, that's not what I'm here for, enough said.

Never ever played NSJ, nor have I spoken to him, I just see the many the comments from him in the forum regarding VIP's not being awarded. 

Wullie, everytime I have ever played in a tournament and have won, I have always been awarded my VIP's in a timely manner. I find it odd that NJS seems to never get his. Additionally, for the low cost of subscription, what kind of service do you actually expect to get. I pay my subscription just to avoid the ads, and honestly, I don't really expect to be getting any service from FOD other than being able to play the game. As far as server issues, rarely do I have any problems unless it's on my end. 

NJS, I'm sure they won't mind seeing you go, like many of us, we are tired of your complaining. There are far worse things in life to worry about.

If it was a game of luck, you wouldn't keep seeing the same players at the top of the standings. It's a game of strategy and precision, if you are good controlling the weight with the mouse, that helps a lot. Ohhh, and its called a rock and not a ball...the game works perfectly, it's not luck or misfortune, it's your knowledge of the workings of the game that you are lacking.

When you place the broom on or very near to the center line, you must look at the rock you are throwing to make sure you are throwing the turn you want. As a test, move the broom back and fourth over the center line and watch how it affects what turn you are throwing. It's not the inconsistency of the game, you just need to learn how it works. Hope this helps.

This is quite normal when using "a full speed hit". You tend to have less control of hitting your target when you max yourself out. Your  accuracy of hitting the broom goes down, as it does in real curling on ice. 

Thank you Zumbarumba for your kind words. I have played on ice curling for the past 35 years and enjoy the sportsmanship and integrity of the game just as much as I love the game itself. Anyone who has actually played curling, I would hope to think, generally feels the same way. Again, I thank you for your recognition and respect.  

You are addicted to the points, statistics and your placement in these tournaments AIYANNA. Therefore, you will continue to subscribe, play and complain about the rules. It's only a game, try to remember that!!!

Takeouts are only inaccurate when you use really heavy weight, same as in real curling. If one is going left and one right, then you are doing something wrong, it's not the game. 

The number is the ice (rink)they are playing on at that time and the color is the color rock they are throwing in that game.

No worries, I will not be taking ForeignExchanges challange. In the past I would have played him, but the last time he challanged me, I specifically said "no, sorry, im on my phone", he then got arrogant and I politely said that due to his arrogance, I would never play him again. Really, I'm not on here to play arrogant people.

I agree, FoD needs to do something with the rating system to prevent players from padding their scores by only playing low rated players. These players are showing up on the top list and really do not deserve to be there. 

Using maximum speed here or in real life on ice creates more room for error and the less likelihood of hitting the broom. It lowers your accuracy due to the speed and momentum in your delivery...so yes, I assume the game is mimicking real life accuracy, or lack of, at maximum weight.

Poor old Ramy, still complaining (making excuses)about pretty much everything when he loses or misses a shot. Constantly complaining about bowlers and the server is his favorite passtime. Well Ramy, isn't the ultimate goal of the game to win by using a strategy that outsmarts and outperforms your opponents? There is no right or wrong strategy in curling, learn to adapt or at least stop whining when we play a strategy that you can't handle. If you need help to win, then you are not as good as you think you are. 

Bowling whiners should watch a competative game of curling once in a while before crying about a common strategy used by most of the top teams in the world today.

RYMATA, I truly believe that you have lost more than credit for a couple of tournaments, you have lost the reality that this is only a game. You are referencing stats from 2014....get over it!!! If this game and its stats are so important to you, I genuinely feel bad that this is all you have in your life to make you feel important. Try playing against other good players outside of the tournament field and for more than an end or two, that way, having the hammer wouldn't matter because it's a 8 or 10 end game. Additionally, try your skills against high rated players on a regular basis and not only what ever opponent the tournament throws at you. This way we will be able to tell if you are truly as good as you obviously think you are. Again, this is only a game, I'm sure Grand Prix would be…

It sounds like your game was slated for more than one end (2,4,6,etc.)and you left before the determined amount of ends were complete, giving your opponent the win.

Stop playing ZERO rated players and you might get some real competition that will finish a game with you.

They could make it so that you don't earn points for playing a player less than 50% of your own rating, but you can still lose points in such a game. I believe that would solve the problem of players padding their rating by beating up and taking advantage of new players.
