why am i always the first one to serve?

I have no choice to loose a game when my wife finds something for me to do

 Some seem to do this, can anyone tell me why, it seems odd.  I have found several just lately, the practice is spreading ! 

Intentionally losing a game is considered grounds for banning, that said, there are still a lot of players that intentionally throw a game. Why, I have no idea. but it happens all the time.
