Usualy when i was at work i was only able to connect with the help of http connection (because there is a firewall here that seems to prevent the other ports from working)

now i can not choose that option anymore. did FOD change this or is it a problem on my end?

If they changed it why? and please change it back i can not play otherwise

Using IE6-9+Java you will have the http connection option back.

First of all thank you for reading and answering my question. I tried your recommendation and sadly it failed. though i suspect your resolution only works for 32bit systems or am i doing something wrong?

(IE8 64bit and the javaversion seems to be 8)

You should install 64bit Java for 64bit IE.
After installation you can check any 3D game of ours (pool, snooker, curling) if they start up.
If they work then all other games should work using Java and offer the http connection option.

ive had the same problem i have not played here since the HTTP has gone :(

i use google chrome

You can force the usage of the Java client so you will have the http option back.
Please, contact support how to activate this.
